Former Playboy cover girl and celebrity apprentice contestant, Maria Kanellis had done it all... except win a championship belt. However, when FWE announced a tournament to crown its first ever womens champion, Maria decided it was time to come out of retirement and officially entered the tournament. On her 30th birthday, despite two years of inactivity, Maria overcame the odds by defeating Tara and Winter on the same night to become champion. Maria’s first title reign would be shortlived, however, losing an impromptu match to Winter. However, less than four months later, Maria would go on to regain her championship, and has remained one of the corner stones of FWE ever since.
